Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes




Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes
Ingredients
Cookies Ingredients
1 ½ cups sifted all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup unsalted butter softened
¼ cup sugar
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons Vanilla
1 cup semisweet chocolate chip
Cake Ingredients
 2 ¼ cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 + 1/3  cups sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup vegetable oil
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Directions
 Cookie dough Directions
* Mix flour, baking soda and salt together and sit aside
* In another bowl beat butter with electronic mixer, add white sugar and brown sugar and mix well
* Add egg and vanilla and beat well.
* Add flour mixture into butter mixture and beat mixture until smooth.
* Add chocolate chips and mix just enough to evenly combine.
* Form the dough into small balls so that we get 24 balls.
* Place them on baking sheet, put them in the freezer for an hour.
Cake Directions
* Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line 24 cup cake cups with paper liners
 * Prepare cake, by mixing dry ingredients together 
* Then add the oil, milk, eggs and vanilla and beat well for two minutes at a medium speed
* Spoon the batter into prepared cupcake liners.
* Place a frozen cookie dough ball on the top center of each cupcake.
* Bake cupcakes for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the cake (not the cookie dough ball) comes clean.
* Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack 
*Decorate  with chocolate icing.  Makes 24 pieces
