Riz Bdfeen
Ingredients
Rice Ingredients
2 cups long rice, inundated in water for an hour
½ teaspoon white pepper
2/3 cup shortening or (1/3 cup shortening + 1/3 cup vegetable oil) 
2 ½  cups chicken broth (or water + 1 cube chicken Bouillon)
Salt as need
Topping Ingredients
Large onion, chopped

2 cups cooked chickpeas
¼ cup chicken broth or water
salt
200 grams ground beef or lamb lean red meat
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
cooked chicken pieces
Roasted almond
Directions

* Rinse the rice with water till water turns pure
* In a saucepan over high heat melt shortening

* Add chicken broth or water carefully as the hot oil don’t spatter
* Add salt, pepper, rice and bring to boil
* Boil until the water almost dry, stir it once or twice
* Reduce heat to very low, cover and cook for 10 minutes
* Put the rice in a serving plate
* In a saucepan on medium heat cook red meat with 1 tablespoon oil till have crumbs
* With a spoon sprinkle the meat over the rice
* In a saucepan on medium heat saute onion with 1 tablespoon oil for 5 minutes, add chickpeas, salt and 1/4 cup chicken soup, cover and cook for 5 minutes, spoon it over the rice and meat
* Place chicken pieces over the dish, sprinkle roasted almond, serve warm with salad
