Lentil soup



Lentil soup
Ingredients
1 small finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
100 g lean ground beef or lamb red meat
1 cup red lentils
4 to 5 cups water or beef soup
1 cube meat flavored bouillon cube
1 tablespoon safflower
Salt, pepper and allspice as needed


Directions
* In a saucepan on medium heat add oil and onion, cook for 3 minutes
* Add meat, cook and stir till it cooked and have crumbed meat
* Add water or beef soup, lentils and bouillon cube, cover and cook till the lentils cooked
* Add safflower, salt, pepper and allspice, cook for 2 minutes

* Serve hot
